Prince Charles and Allegra Foundation unite for a good cause

Several high profile figures, including Allegra Foundation Chairman Jeffrey Young, recently attended a reception hosted by The Prince of Wales to celebrate WaterAid's 30th anniversary. The event marked 30 years of WaterAid’s work in delivering access to safe water, hygiene and sanitation to some of the world’s poorest communities.

Allegra Foundation was invited to the event to acknowledge the money it raised for WaterAid during UK Coffee Week held in April this year.

The reception provided Prince Charles, the President of WaterAid since 1991, with an opportunity to personally thank those who have contributed to the organisation’s successful and life-changing work.

Allegra Foundation is currently working with WaterAid to deliver clean and safe water to communities in the Mbulu District of Tanzania through fundraising during UK Coffee Week.
