Coffee is a water intensive crop, the whole process takes about 140 litres of water to produce one cup of coffee. However many rural areas where coffee is produced struggle with basic access to clean drinking water. UK Coffee Week raises valuable funds to support Project Waterfall in bringing clean drinking water and sanitation to those who grow our coffee.
