BRITA Professional: Official Headline Sponsors

We are thrilled to be partnering with BRITA Professional as official headline sponsors for UK Coffee Week and proud supporters of Project Waterfall.

BRITA launched the professional line of business in 1980 and have since become renowned in the coffee shop and restaurant industries for optimising water quality that improves the taste of coffee.

BRITA Professional’s continued support for Project Waterfall and UK Coffee Week has enabled us to reach thousands of people in coffee growing communities with clean drinking water and sanitation. In 2017, their support was critical to the implementation of our tri-country project in partnership with WaterAid UK which aims to reach hundreds of children in schools across Uganda, Kenya and Ethiopia.

Over 40 million coffees are consumed in the UK each week. Each of these cups provides an opportunity to make a difference during UK Coffee Week (16-22 April) when coffee shops and cafés across the nation get behind industry charity Project Waterfall. Fundraising takes place in lots of different ways – from special fundraising events to charitable donations for every cup sold – but all the funds go towards providing clean water and sanitation to coffee growing communities. We’re proud to continue our support through sponsorship of this important week and urge operators to help make a difference to the lives of the farmers who grow our coffee.
