We’re excited to announce that registration for UK Coffee Week 2021 is now open!

It’s just under four months to go until this year’s event which will be held from 18th to 24th October.

Since we started in 2011 UK Coffee Week has donated more than £800,000 to Project Waterfall, and helped fund 13 projects in Ethiopia, Kenya, Nicaragua, Tanzania and Uganda, changing more than 45,000 lives.

Coffee business can register at  www.ukcoffeeweek.com – the form takes a few minutes to complete. To help run UK Coffee Week there is a registration fee of £10 per outlet/online business. If you have 10 or more outlets please email hello@ukcoffeeweek.com to register.

Businesses are not expected to raise a set amount, just whatever they can.

UK Coffee Week Founder Jeffrey Young said: “UK Coffee Week is about celebrating our nation’s coffee industry as well as supporting our coffee-growing communities.

“Taking part is also a great way for businesses to attract new customers and drive demand. You will be joining with the entire industry to fundraise and change the lives of communities in need.”

88% of coffee outlets surveyed said taking part in UK Coffee Week had made a positive impact on their business, from attracting new customers to sparking conversations about ethical and sustainable practice.*

Mark Redpath of Purple Badger Camping & Fishing Lakes in Leicestershire said: “We gained new local customers who were simply impressed with the story behind Coffee Week and that we felt it was right to support. We also gained a customer who has now become barista-trained on the back of our conversations.

“It was a fun week and our customers wanted to know more.”

Victoria Cozens of Perky Blenders, London said: “The atmosphere is busy and buzzy, and our regulars like to engage with what we are doing to support charitable events.”

Rory Ireland of Bristol Twenty Coffee Co said: “We enjoy supporting the week, as it brings the UK coffee industry together, and if the last 15 months has taught us anything it is that together we are stronger. The week showcases the very best the industry has to offer, whilst making a massive difference to the lives of thousands in coffee-growing communities through the huge fundraising efforts for Project Waterfall.”
