The Coffee Works Project

On Tuesday 25 November, the UK Coffee Week team met up with one of our biggest supporters, The Coffee Works Project, at their store on Islington High Street. Catching up with Joanna and Peter gave us the perfect opportunity to reminisce about their involvement in UK Coffee Week and discuss their future ideas for 2015 (which we cannot wait to see!).

Our Afternoon with Tower 47

On Wednesday, 29 October, the UK Coffee Week team sat down with Sydney Kelly, co-founder of the Tower 47 coffee shop on Chalk Farm Road in Camden for a Q&A session. In this session, we discussed the launch of Tower 47, their coffee, being a business owner, and UK Coffee Week 2015. Sydney's passionate, energetic and outgoing personality shined through the conversation as we sat in the eclectic cafe with a cup of delicious coffee.

Leave the Herd Behind: A Sit Down with Black Sheep Coffee

On Tuesday, 21 October, the UK Coffee Week team had the chance to sit down with Eirik Holth, one of the founders of Black Sheep Coffee, at their store on Camden High Street. We discussed a range of topics from their personal journey to their involvement in UK Coffee Week 2015. Black Sheep is a London-based coffee company that challenges the traditional coffee scene with their cleverly titled, “Robusta Revival.”  Here’s how our afternoon went.

10 Great Songs about Coffee (in our humble opinion)

Let’s face it; everyone loves the occasional top ten list. That’s why the UK Coffee Week team has decided to share our top 10 all time favourite songs about coffee. The songs on this list range from pop to rock to reggae, but are all in some way inspired by our favourite hot drink.

WaterAid's Annual Supporters Meeting 2014

On 10 October 2014, the UK Coffee Week team was invited to WaterAid’s Annual Supporters Meeting where we had the chance to meet some inspirational people and hear about all of the wonderful achievements WaterAid has made over the past year. WaterAid has been one of Project Waterfall’s trusted partners for many years, and it was an absolute honour to be invited to this celebratory event and to see first-hand how every contribution, no matter how small, has such a powerful impact on the communities we support.
